Do you feel at the end of the day at your desk that you are curled up hunched over? Take a 30 second break a few times each hour of your day to help unwind that posture.
Sitting in your chair, with your feet flat on the floor, put your arms to your sides. While taking a deep breath, tilt your head back, and rotate your arms out 45 degrees from your body, turning your hands to have your open palms facing your desk and stretching to open your chest. Release the breath and return to the starting position.
This exercise won’t treat or correct an injury or structural abnormality but, it will help relieve some of that hunched over feeling and reduce the possibility of muscle soreness.
