The LGN Steering Committee is responsible for maintaining and strengthening one of the organization’s signature programs. The committee, which meets monthly, has three main goals:
- Maintain the continued quality of the program’s session days. The ten session format requires the constant updating of content to keep the program fresh and relevant to the needs of the community.
- Strive, each program year, to create a balanced class of participants from across the region that have the desire and capacity to benefit from the experience.
- Create a vibrant and inclusive alumni association that strives to involve every past participant and is charged with improving opportunities for involvement within the region’s communities.
The steering committee will be comprised of alumni and volunteer contributors to the program. Permanent members of the committee shall include the Chamber President and Community Resources and Economic Development Chair. The Steering Committee shall be comprised of a total of 14 members with a minimum of 7 of these members being former graduating participants in the Leadership Greater Nashua Program. The committee meets on the first Thursday of each month. Currently, the committee is meeting at 8:30am at the offices of Nashua Pastoral Care Center.
